Robert Salladay is the managing editor at the Center for Investigative Reporting. He has been the principal editor of projects that have twice been finalists for the Pulitzer Prize - in 2011 and 2012. Projects he has edited also have won two George Polk Awards and four IRE awards. He has covered California politics and government for more than a decade, including most recently as a reporter and blogger for the Los Angeles Times, where he ran the successful Political Muscle blog.
