Journalists are good at finding information online, but the task gets complicated in searches for older information and video clips. Web pages are updated, sites get architecture makeovers and publishers disapear, archives and all. The nonprofit Internet Archive offers a host of tools to help journalists access older parts of the Web and information that is hard to find through search engines, as well as growing digital archives of texts, audio, moving images and older software. Join us for this conversation with Roger Macdonald, the Internet Archive's director of television archive, to find out how these tools can help you provide more historical context in your reporting and do better investigative journalism.
